Synesthesia sits behind a user's open windows and changes the surrounding scene without replacing the work in front of them. Teammates owned modeling and visual design. I owned the interaction and runtime mechanics.
Scene switching
Mechanics to move between multiple ambient environments without breaking the sense that the world is still "on."
Color, music, opacity
Live controls for palette, audio, and AR opacity so the experience can sit at any intensity behind real work.
Unity → visionOS pipeline
Brought the Unity build onto visionOS with custom gradient shaders tuned for soft, ambient presence.
Opacity states
The scene remains legible across transparent and fully visible presentation states.
What it proved
The completed prototype combines scene switching, live controls, audio, and custom shaders in one visionOS experience.
